Carrot and apple Juice !

Hello everyone . So today I made a fruit juice !! I will make fruit juice only when Im back at my home . This is because I have a fruit juicer here and not in my hostel. BTW , do you guys know that I'm actually staying in a hostel ? yes. I m staying in Kuala Lumpur and pursuing a professional programme in Accountancy and my hometown is just 2 hours away from my college but i have to stay in hostel anyway , so yeah.

Im back for a weekend and I just wanted to have a really yummy and healthy juice for my breakfast and I made a carrot and apple juice ! let me tell you, It was sweet and yummy-licious !

Things you need to achieve this juice :
2 carrots
2 red apples

Juice them with a fruit juicer and there you have it !



Nah don't count the calorie because it's guilt-free .This would give you 2 glasses of juice and have this as your breakfast or snacks ! It tastes amazing .

Banana,Mango and Pineapple Smoothie

Hola people ! After such a long time I'm back .Im sorry as I was busy with my stuffs and studies.Extremely sorry. Please forgive me ,Haha .

So in this post I would like to talk bout the fruit smoothie that I made.Recently I have been having fruit smoothie or fruit juice everyday.Its healthy and yummy and also guilt-free . Today would be banana,mango and pineapple smoothie or you can classify them as milkshake too as I added milk in this smoothie just to add some calcium .

Thing you need to prepare this smoothie :

1/4 pineapple
1-2 big bananas
1 sweet mango
1/2 cup of milk (optional)

blend it all together and there you have it . Below is a picture of how I prepared my smoothie .



And that's it. It was sweet and yummy and really tummy-filling . This can be your breakfast or snack.This will give you 2 glasses of smoothie and will be sufficient for a breakfast or snack .

Calorie Count : 629   (+ /-)
As we know , bananas are rich in potassium , carbohydrate and protein .It is 0 fat and energy boosters when you are on the go ! Mangoes are rich in carbohydrate , dietary fibre and protein .It approximately gives you 201 calories per mango . Pineapples are a great source for fibre .It is high in potassium , dietary fibre and protein .

Gym and Gym

hellooo ! So yeah ,How's gym and all? I just gotta say that Im just tooo too happy that I finally joined back the gym and I  felt so energized after my cardio and workout . Like I said I would  concentrate more on cardio first because I need to make myself light ,I need  to lose those fat but remember to workout as well .Do few reps of sets alongside . Because cardio itself will not tone your body . You need to do heavy exercises so that you can build some muscles and muscles will enable you to burn calories even when you're watching tv . GIRLS, muscles doesn't mean 'hulk'ing !! Most of the girls do have the perception that lifting makes you bigger .But know the facts right.Lifting heavily and very heavily and with more painful workout and super dedication is what makes men to have six packs and big arms and legs. So,lifting light will never make you a hulk . You should google up to know more .

I bought a pair of new training shoes because my current training shoe is very old and I got it as a sponsor from the Malaysian Government Sport Complex in year 2010 .That's really old na?

This is it .I got it from BATA for RM 59.90 . That's  all I can afford .I know we all dream for Nike's training shoes .they are awesome. But I appreciate every tiny pieces that I have now.This shoe is super comfortable too .I wore this to gym and trained and guess what , I wear this to college too.Haha . Believe me. It's beautiful and comfortable as well .










After my workout . Sweating and feeling good. You look the prettiest when you sweat in the gym .

Set your goals right ! - Do's and Don'ts

Hi my fellow lifters. How are you doing ? How good is  your fitness journey so far ? I'm so excited that I can join gym very soon . In this post I am just going to guide you the right thing to follow to lose weight ( not being fitness specialist ,just a few general tips ) .


A few weight loss resolutions that you should really skip or avoid  and set it right .
  • I'm going to skip all fat , sugar and salt - Never force yourself for a super strict diet . You can never skip all fat ,sugar and salt . You need good fatty acids such as Omega3 and nuts to keep your skin healthy and also your heart healthy . Skip fast foods and also any food that contains MSG . Eat fresh .Reduce your salt intake and also sugar. Use brown sugar instead . Say NO to carbonated drinks or candies . You may have your cheatmeal once in a week . 
  • I'm going to gym everyday -  No. That's wrong. You shouldn't strain yourself too much on it.When you drain your body too much it becomes very tired and weak and will need more time to recover back to normal .The ideal would be going to gym 5 days a week d maximum and minimum 3 times .
  • I'm going to do this same sets / reps for a month - This will not give a good result. When you repeat the same reps or set of exercises for more than 6 days , your body will get adapted to it .So you should change your set of exercises every six days once. Try different sets of exercise or try workout and cardio different days .
  • I'm going to weigh myself everyday - It's important to keep track of your progress but weighing yourself  everyday will not give you satisfaction because it is a slow progress and not an overnight progress . So be patient and wait . A few words from a certified fitness trainer was "A better way to measure your weight loss: “Get a pair of jeans that you haven’t been able to fit into and use them as your scale," she suggests. "If you’re changing shape and losing weight, you’ll notice those jeans fitting better.” " . So yeah where's your cant-fit-into-it jeans ? LOL 
  • I'm going to stop all unhealthy foods - It's fair to treat yourself once in awhile . Give a day for your sweet tooth . depriving yourself of the taste you truly want can often only lead to overeating later. That's cheatmeal .I have my cheatdays every Sunday because Sundays are Fundays =) . But make sure you don't go above your limit and remember to burn it the next day .
  • Never skip your breakfast . WARNING !! Eat your breakfast like king , lunch like prince and dinner like a beggar .but also add 3 snacks in between your meals. You can have fruit shakes , fruits or nuts .
  • Im going to follow one specific source only - Never hesitate to ask others. I always read health magazines and articles . It's vital to get enough knowledge about health .After all , you are the one who handles yourself most of the time .Right ? 
  • I'm never gona touch the dumbell - Girls !! I hate this statement from girls . I mean lifting will not make you a beast. It will give you curves. Doing cardio only will never give you curvy figure.You have to workout as well . Muscles will make you to burn calories even when you're watching TV. but it doesn't mean you must be like The Rock .LOL . 

That's a lot , I know. But make sure you follow all these simple rules for weight loss . This blog is mainly to keep me accountable of my target and also I love helping others too .So everyone has the right for the best .Give yourself the best and stay happy because this life is gift from God  .

New Years Resolutions : Getting Fit

Hello everyone . So it's the year end and time to celebrate the new year. New years resolutions are bulking up in both my twitter and facebook timeline. Mostly were bout getting fit by the next summer . So yeah that would be my goal too. Basically , I was an athlete during my high school and i was fit but never thin. I just don't know why I can't lose weight but I was very fit and my stamina was excellent . During my centralized training for Asean Games in 2010 in National Sports Complex , I used to work out 3 times a day. Where all my teammates train only twice a day. But still , I can't see any changes in my body When my dietitian advised me , he said my metabolism was very low and that's the reason why my body couldn't burn much calories .So  he suggested me some tips to increase my metabolism .

Such as
1. Sleep 6-8 hours at night
2. Eat small portion meals six times a day ( 3 meals , 3 snacks )
3.Drink gallons of water
4.exercise at least 30 mins everyday
5.Never starve

When I followed all the above , I noticed some changes , I dropped 4kg in a month. but thats it .It was finally the competition day and then the following year was my senior year in my high school . Spm year or O' level year . When i was 16 i didn't go to school for a year because i was in centralized training in KL . So for my FORM 5 i had to really work harder to cover all Form 4 lesson that I've missed .I was very busy studying and the stress , I didn't obey my fitness routine well and again my metabolism level dropped and I gained weight. I became very tired and energyless .after 4 months I joined college and believe me I was so shy to show my face to my new friends in college because of my appearance . I always eat well , less junk food and fast food yet I still couldn't drop any pounds . Then I visited the gym in the Sunway Pyramid Mall , Celebrity Fitness , but it was very expensive that I couldn't afford their entry payment which consists of processing fee , 2 months fee deposit and etc etc. I jogged around my hostel but still not much changes .I begun giving excuses for everything . Because I was not bound to anything I h\was not feeling accountable . Then in October I had enough money from my savings and I joined the gym .I lost weight gradually . I lost 3-4 kg in October and November.and In December was back to my hometown for sem break .

This year January 2013 i moved out to a rented room near my college.It was 20mins away from my college and I had to walk back to room everyday after class by 8pm. Because of this I became very tired and couldn't follow my gym routines.Now I have gained 8kgs in a year and i jail myself in my room or my house. Everyone would notify me by "seetha , u gained weight a lot'. That hurts me a lot.

So , in January I will be moving to my hostel again and I'm very much happy that I can perform my fitness routines and be discipline . So my new year Motto would be BE DISCIPLINE !!
